Proficiency is the new way to progress after you reach the level cap of 2500. Aside possibly giving bonuses as you progress, it will allow you to wear new equipment as well. Proficiency will also be required to access further places after you reach the level cap.
Proficiency Mechanics
Upon reaching 2500, the proficiency can be found in the Others menu, like the image in the right is showing
Upon clicking on it, a window will pop up.
This window shows you what can you upgrade with your unused Proficiency Points and Proficiency Stones. Below, we'll show you the available attributes and their bonuses in an organized manner.
Proficiency Attribute | Bonuses |
---|---|
Strength | 4.25% Damage per level |
Intelligence | 1.75% Spell Damage per level |
Constitution | 4.25% HP/MP per level |
Resilience | +3.5% Armor Rating per level |
Agility | 25 Speed per level |
In order to invest points into one of the attribute categories, you will need to have both Proficiency Points and Proficiency Stones. You obtain proficiency points every 20 proficiency levels and proficiency stones are mainly crafted, but can be dropped on some other places as well. The amount of each that you will need to invest a point into your desired category is displayed at the right of the menu, as shown in the image above.
It's important to note that some equipment and/or places will check for your average proficiency instead of your total, so try to keep your proficiency levels somewhat balanced so you don't run into requirement issues.
