Patch Notes — New Features & Improvements

We're rolling out a fresh wave of updates to BlackTalon! From powerful new rune options for the Death Knight to a completely revamped client experience, this patch brings meaningful changes across the board. Here's everything that's new:

Death Knight — New Support Runes

Two new runes have been added to the Death Knight's arsenal:
Crimson Resurrection: Instead of granting a shield, this rune now heals a percentage of max HP over 3 seconds. It also deals damage equal to 1/3 of what the shield's maximum value would have been.
Blight Infusion: When the shield expires, nearby creatures take increased damage from the Death Knight for a limited time.

Bloody Night — Spell Update

The Bloody Night spell has received significant improvements. It now launches 3 additional spears at random targets. For each target that dies during the effect, Bloody Rain's damage and duration increase. The rain now follows the Death Knight's position, and the base tick damage of the rain has been increased.

Bug Fix

Fixed an issue where furniture sold on the market could not be unwrapped.

Container Search — Redesigned

The item search inside containers has been completely rebuilt. Searching your backpack, depot, or store inbox now opens a clean, centered window in the middle of the screen — faster and easier to use. Features include real-time search on Enter, automatic item listing on open, support for moving stackable items with a quantity selector, and a visual cooldown between searches.
The Relic Container also received a new button to open a separate expanded window with advanced filters: sort by Tier or Quantity, filter by 25 attribute types, search by name, and group duplicates.

Profession Tasks — New Dedicated Window

Profession tasks no longer require speaking to an NPC. A dedicated window is now accessible via Ctrl+Shift+P, featuring two categories — Gathering (Woodcutting, Mining, Herbalism, Fishing) and Crafting (Blacksmithing, Woodworking, Alchemy, Jewelcrafting) — each with 4 styled tabs. The window displays your active task with a progress bar, task sprite, and map location preview, along with Start and Finish Mission buttons. A side tracker follows your daily task progress in real time.

Transmute Forge — New System

A brand-new system that lets you transform unwanted items into new ones of the same tier. Two modes are available:
Specific: Place items of the same tier and type and choose exactly which item type you want to receive.
Random: Place 3 items of different types from the same tier to receive a random item.
The window displays a real-time success chance bar. You can use pearls to increase the chance. When it reaches 100%, the result item pulses to confirm the outcome is guaranteed. Using all pearls to reach 100% also grants a 10% chance to forge an item of the next tier.

Chaos Compass — Unified Window

The previously separate tabs for Chaos Dungeon, Hunting Ground, and Tower Arena have been merged into a single tab: Chaos Systems. The window now has 4 tabs: Compass, Systems, SoulScroll, and Rift — each consolidating relevant content into one accessible place.

New Server Selector

The server selection screen has been completely redesigned. The 3 servers — Legacy, International, and Brasil — now appear side by side in panels with a cinematic visual style. The selected server is displayed in color while the others remain in grayscale. Each panel shows the server status, online player count, and a direct "PLAY NOW" button.

Character List — Auto-Reconnect

The character list now supports auto-reconnect with up to 60 automatic reconnection attempts at increasing intervals (3s to 10s).

Community — Build Sharing Channel

A new channel has been created on our Discord dedicated to sharing class builds #⚔️-builds-⚔️ — the official space for guides and build discussions. To help grow the content available for new players, veteran players who submit detailed build guides explaining their class and playstyle will be awarded the @Recognized Member. Want a special shader on your name? Go ahead and write an awesome guide.
