Patch Notes — Stability Fixes, New Features & Balance UpdatesWe have been hard at work behind the scenes, and this update brings a strong wave of improvements across the board — from critical stability fixes to exciting new features and meaningful balance changes. Here is everything that is landing in this patch. Crashes & StabilityMultiple modules that were causing crashes on relog or death have been fixed. In addition, Tower Arena is now loading maps correctly, the Death Knight outfit scroll has been fixed and players who own it should be able to use it without any issues, and the Eternal Depths introduction video now plays correctly — once watched, it will not appear again. Quest Rewards — Multi-Item ChestsQuest reward chests now support multiple items per category (equipment, weapons, off-hand). You choose one item per category, selecting from 3 available options. Individual item lists have also been added to the reward chests of Draken Tower, Icescar, Wasteland, and Sky Realm. Balance ChangesPhantom Ammo Attack speed has been corrected to its intended value of 30% (was incorrectly applying 6.5%). Abyssal Sacrifice (Death Knight) The ability was not functioning as intended and has been corrected. Spellmaster Tooltips now display correctly, showing all bonuses properly. Two-Handed Weapons Now receive 100% of the off-hand upgrader's might, bringing them in line with dual-wield builds. Hunting Grounds Spawn time reduced from 30s to 20s across all 20 hunting grounds. Creatures in Hunting Grounds and Eternal Depths now have a longer despawn distance, allowing you to lead them further away with greater ease. Eternal Depths — XP Overhaul Task experience inside Eternal Depths is now 2x. All creatures inside Eternal Depths now grant 2x more experience, balanced relative to Rift creatures of the same level. The spawn chance of special orbs has also been doubled (2x). Eternal Depths — Loot & World Fixes Drop rates and item quantities for Storyline quest items have been rebalanced. Creature density in shallow rift areas has been increased. The staircases and doors in the main city that were not functioning have been fixed, and the staircases inside Eternal Depths that were also broken have been corrected. UI ScaleA new UI scale option is now available under Options > Interface > Windows. Death Recap — XP Loss CalculationThe Death Recap system now calculates and displays your exact experience loss upon death. Party Info in the Quest HelperA new "Party Info" tab has been added to the Quest Helper, visible to all party members (not just the Quest Master). It displays each member's quest eligibility, total points, and any reasons for ineligibility. The party leader always receives 100% of the quest points. Any additional Quest Helpers in the group receive half — for example, with 2 extra Quest Helpers and 4 players contributing points, each Quest Helper receives 2 points while the leader receives 4. This patch touches a lot of systems at once, and every change was driven by your feedback and our commitment to a better BlackTalon experience. Dive in, explore the updates, and let us know what you think. See you in the game. |
